Becca is an Associate Professor in Exercise Science at Eastern Michigan University. She has a PhD in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and a MS in Exercise Physiology from James Madison University. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. Becca has been an endurance athlete her entire life. Originally focusing on triathlon from the sprint to ironman distance, shifting to solely running and marathons including Boston in 2010, and now competing in ultramarathons. She also has a strength training background completing an internship at State of Fitness, coaching at 734 Strength and Performance and Underground Athletics, and competing at the Arnold in Olympic Weightlifting. Becca uses scientifically based principles to create training plans for her athletes.
